I Delight in You Always...

Well... i've been working at Healthy Me for 3 weeks (i think) and have been praying that they would give me morning shifts instead of the night shifts i've been working. In case you are not married- FYI: working late at night while your spouse is home alone and by the time you get home you're too tired to even have a conversation and your house is a mess... etc... is not a good idea for the ol' marry-age. Anywho, so I've been seriously praying about this because I believe that it is the Lord's will for clay and i to spend time together and i'm pretty dang sure that His will is for us to continue being happily married. So, guess what i got today...
The girl who has all the morning shifts--- yeah, she put in her two weeks today. AND!! She called ME to see if I would want to switch shifts with her NOW so she can start training for her new job. I mean... I'm constantly-- CONSTANTLY-- in awe of the God I serve. Why does He even care about these little things that seem so insignificant? Why does He give us the desires of our hearts? We sure as heck don't deserve it, I can tell you that much. I know why, i just can't understand it. So, I won't try. I'll just bask in the holiness and graciousness of the Lord. I'm so grateful for this simple gift He's given me, but I'm also astouded with how He continues to provide for Clay and I-- making it impossible to do anything but praise Him (no really... i got off work and rolled my window down and sang a little Shane and Shane--- maybe at the top of my lungs, i can't be completely sure). I'm just so in love I can hardly stand it.

And the little memory verse the kids learned while LBS was goin' on: "When you REST in the LORD, He will give you PEACE. Isa. 26:3" -- go get some.

Prayer request:
Please pray for my family that I nanny for. They are going through some very difficult times and need all the prayers they can get. Just give God a shout out on their behalf while you're reading this. Thanks. I look forward to answers to those prayers.
