Baby it's cold outside

I just love the Christmas season. I'm not sure that I can put my finger on any one thing that makes this season better than any other... I just know I love it. Clay is in Amarillo for 3 weeks on business :( However, the Lord is doing amazing things with him over there. He is selling ads like crazy and having a great time (besides missing "his gorgeous wife" ;). We are loving watching the Lord work in our lives daily. He never ceases to amaze me at how faithful and how abundant He really is. Clay's birthday is on Wednesday so be sure to send him an e-card (they're free at www.hallmark.com ) or something.

This weekend I get to spend with my 110 girls! I am so excited for the 4 of us to be together again... Dallas is not safe with us all here at the same time!!! We're all hanging out at my apartment for a weekend full of pedicures, cinnamon rolls, and laughing til we pee our pants. It is my recommendation that every girl have a "quad."

My last day at Texas Dreams was on Tuesday. It was a great last day. Everyone was so nice and gave me big hugs. It definitly made it difficult to leave... but when I got to sleep in the next morning it wasn't that hard. HA!! I'm loving being home so far. I get to clean my house, work-out, and hang out with my Bestest friend Mel working on random projects and drinking the latest Sonic concoction (is that even how you spell that word??). We have decided that we're going to start walking together in the mornings/early afternoon to some people. Which means we will most definitly have to go shopping for cute walking outfits because everyone knows you can't go tromping around Dallas wearing just any old thing... Sheesh!

So, life is good with the Hootens. We will be spending Christmas in Lubbock this year. I hate to admit that I'm kind of excited about it. I miss his family and our friends there. It will be really great to see everyone. We'll be there from Dec. 22-26th. So, give a call if you're gonna be there!
Merry Christmas everybody!!!

p.s. I would really appreciate it if I could send out a prayer request... and I'm really serious... I would like to pray for some serious snow. I haven't had a really white Christmas since... I don't even remember. I really want one this year. So, if you got time and you think about it -- hit your knees for some snow. Thanks ya'll.
