You'd never guess that it's a self portrait. I love that man.
So, for those of you who don't know, clay and i went on a cruise for our honeymoon. We had a whole lot of fun just being together and finally getting to relax. I must say, it was kind of weird being all by ourselves without supervision. HA! We went to Costa Maya, Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Ocho Rios, Jamaica (where we did indeed climb the famous Dunn's River Falls). The food was amazing, the ports were amazing, the shows were amazing, and sleeping all day was amazing!
This is us in Costa Maya. We've had to take many self portraits since we've been together and as you can see have gotten quite good at it.
I just had to put this picture in here because I wanted to show everyone how amazingly beautiful my husband is. He is so absolutely wonderful. Everyone should have a Clay.
This is our room at the Gaylord Texan, where we stayed our very first night together. We got a totally SWEET upgrade without even asking (thanks Big Guy) to a deluxe king suite. It had two balconies, french doors that opened up into the bedroom, marble counter tops in the bathroom, and a huge living area (as you can see). We later found out that had we booked the room that we were upgraded to we would have spent a hefty $8,000. If that's not a blessing, I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS!!
We've been married appoximately 24 days now and I'm we're loving every minute of it. One of clay and my least favorite things to hear from people is how we should "just give it 10 years and you won't feel that way, ha ha ha..." So, Clay and I decided that we would just go ahead and love each other more today than we did yesterday -- and so on and so forth. Besides, who wants to have a marriage like that. Like the title of our blog says, this is the abundant life people.
Praise GOD!!
